The space

The sea view really is the star of this apartment. The bright living and dining area overlooks the coast, with large windows making the most of the view – whether you're having breakfast overlooking the sea or relaxing after a day exploring Thanet.

There are two comfortable bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a double. Both have direct access to the sea-facing balcony, so you can step outside and enjoy the fresh sea air first thing in the morning.

There's also plenty of storage and a dedicated dressing table/workspace, making the apartment a great option for longer stays or working remotely.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for a self-catering stay, including an oven with built-in air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine.

The bathroom has a corner bath as well as a separate shower, basin and toilet.

The balcony & views

The private sea-facing balcony is one of our favourite parts of the apartment.

Sit outside with your morning coffee, watch the world go by or simply enjoy the panoramic views across the Kent coastline towards Reculver.

During the warmer months, you can also catch some absolutely beautiful sunsets from here.

And autumn and winter are lovely too – think quieter beaches, long coastal walks and cosy evenings back at the apartment watching the sea.

The location

The apartment is in Westgate-on-Sea, a lovely Victorian seaside town with beautiful beaches including West Bay and St Mildred's Bay.

You'll have the coast right on your doorstep while still being only around a 5-minute drive from Margate, making it easy to visit the Old Town, Dreamland, Turner Contemporary, restaurants, bars and shops.

Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Minnis Bay and the rest of Thanet are also within easy reach.

Whether you're coming for a romantic weekend, family seaside break, trip with friends or simply a few peaceful days by the coast, it's a brilliant base for exploring this part of Kent.

Good to know

The apartment is situated above The Swan, a popular local pub and restaurant.

At weekends there can occasionally be live music and a lively atmosphere from the courtyard below. Entertainment finishes by around 9pm, but we like to make guests aware of this before booking.
