Winnie Wonka Cottage is a small, cosy and beautifully decorated two-bedroom cottage in the heart of St Peter’s, Broadstairs. Full of character and thoughtfully styled throughout, it’s a lovely home-from-home for couples, friends or small families looking to explore the Kent coast.

The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests across two bedrooms, one with a comfortable king-size bed and the other with a double bed.

The open-plan kitchen and seperate living area is a cosy space to relax together, with comfortable seating and a TV for quieter evenings at home. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing simple meals during your stay, including a microwave and air fryer.

Please note, there is no traditional oven or hob at the property and there is no washing machine or tumble dryer.

The cottage also has a modern shower room and a private courtyard to the rear, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a little fresh air.

One of the lovely things about staying in St Peter’s is having plenty nearby. For eating out locally, you’ll find Peninsula Chinese Restaurant and The Broadway Tandoori, while The Red Lion is a traditional village pub where food is also available. There are several local takeaways too, including St Peters Fishbar, May King Chinese and Sea Master Fish & Chips.

Broadstairs town centre is also close by, where you’ll be spoilt for choice with independent cafés, restaurants, pubs and takeaways, as well as the beautiful Viking Bay.

For groceries and essentials, there is a Co-op within walking distance of the cottage, while a larger Asda supermarket is also close by.

Winnie Wonka Cottage may be small, but it’s cosy, comfortable and in a great location for discovering St Peter’s, Broadstairs and the beautiful Thanet coastline.

Guests will have full access to the whole property and courtyard and the property can be accessed by a lockbox. Check in information is sent out at 9am on your day of arrival.

Just a couple of things to know before your stay 😊

The cottage has a compact kitchen which is perfect for preparing light meals and snacks. There isn’t a traditional oven or hob, but you’ll have an air fryer and microwave to use during your stay, and there are plenty of lovely places to eat and grab a takeaway nearby too.

Although the cottage doesn’t have its own private parking space, there is free on-street parking directly outside on a first come, first served basis. If you can’t find a space outside, don’t worry – there’s plenty of additional free parking around a 3-minute walk away, next to the Co-op car park and along the road by the Co-op and church.
